My dog wants his bread
Look at how he reacts when I wiggled his bread in the air:
He looks excited right? I feel him saying: "Hahaha! Come on, give me my piece!" LOL
When I gave him his bread, he looked so happy eating it:
Mengmeng: "Yummy!! I want more!"
Me: Okay tomorrow :p
<3 u Menggi!
My handsome prince was injured
Due to a series of unfortunate situations, my handsome prince got injured.
This shots were taken two weeks ago at Makati Medical Center.
Good thing is that, two weeks from now, the cast will be removed! :) Yey! :)
....And although with his cast on, my handsome prince is still cool with it.
See?! He said: Make Peace, Not War! :D
<3 him much! :)

My youngest fan
If I were an artist, this kid will be my youngest fan :p
His name is Roselle (I hope I spelled it right) and he is 3-5 years of age. I first met him during our Easter Sunday celebration when her mom, who is my mom and aunt's friend, brought him with her to our house. Her mom introduced me to him as "Tita Chay". From then on, he never left my side. When I go outside to see on what's happening at our village's court where people and children are celebrating all night, he continuously calls me and runs after me. He even told me he injured his knee because he ran to much just to follow me. When I go inside the restroom, he looks after me. I even heard him ask his mom and my mom: "Asan si Tita Chay?" Then he went inside the house and never stopped to call: "Tita Chay! Tita Chay!"
He even sat beside me on the floor when I was too tired of all the noise in the house. He's such a young, sweet boy!
Look at our picture together:
I really adore this kid! :)
Chili's lanterns
When you get to eat at Chilis Powerplant Mall, you'll be happy to see their Hawaiian inspired lightings.
I know, I know, it's not a good shot. I just found it cute so I shared it with you.
And who can focus on what she does when a large plate of hot and crunchy nachos and their chili and ranch dips were all placed on her front?? Now tell me. :p
5 emotions in a kid's face
I played around with my cousin on the Easter Sunday night. I told him that I'm gonna took his pictures in his different emotions. So here it goes the pictures!
Happy:
Yup, that's how he smiles. No showing of teeth.
Sad:
Aaaaw.. you make me pout here baby.
Scared:
No mum, I don't wanna get circumsized yet... :s
Mad:
"I told you, I don't wanna get circumsized yet.. Don't you understand that?!"
Lady Gaga:
His version of Poker face. :)
I love you Rap! :D
Eeeeeew!
Okay, now this is what happened after I, my mom and my little cousin went home from the Easter Vigil.
The good girl I am, I controlled myself not to sing on our rented videoke. "Because it's still Black Saturday", i told myself.
Instead, I grabbed the bottle of Vodka and Pepsi inside our fridge, got two glasses for me and my aunt and poured some in it. As I sipped on the alcohol and carbonated drink, my throat burned, but I ignored it. I went inside my room, got 7 peso coins and went to the nearest store to buy junk foods. "My cheat day", i told myself again.
I went home with 7 pieces of junks on my hand and drank my vodka straight to my tummy. It tasted akward but I didn't care. It was not a good night for me after all. :( After around 30 minutes of chit chatting with my aunt and little cousins (who were there but not drinking, mind you), I went inside to freshen up as I was already feeling a bit tipsy.
The following day, my tummy and lower back were burning itchy! When I held up my shirt, this what I got:

It was really really hot and itchy!!! That was my skin! It was so hot burnin' red and there were white patches around too. It was really icky and itchy to look at! I went to the drugstore to get myself some antihistamines (Celestamine) afer hearing the Easter Sunday Mass. I felt dumb and sorry. *sigh*
Karma moves faster than I thought. :D
Holy Week 2011
The reason why I wanted to post some snapshots of what I and these kids below did during the last Holy Week is to treasure the "last" Holy Week I'll spend with them as a single lady. *insert a sentimental song here*
Since I have to work on Holy Monday to Holy Wednesday, we only spent Maundy Thursday - Easter Sunday together. We did Visita Iglesia on the night of Maundy Thursday after the Mass of Washing of the Feet. We visited 7 Churches around Noveleta-Cavite City area. Unfortunately, I only thought of posting it here in my blog when we were already on our last stop: San Sebastian College - Recoletos de Cavite.
It was still dark when we went to the place. Then our priest read some Bible readings. Then he signaled the people hidden at the top of the Church's facade through his flashlight to light up the small piece of cloth or wood (I guess). They did it and they slid it through a thin rope that will fall directly on the bonfire's woods. Right then and there, the fire started and grew fast, enough to light up the Church's ground.
After some more readings and lighting and praying of/with the Paschal Candle, all headed inside the Church.
...However, we needed to go home even before the Easter Vigil was not yet finished. Mom's head ached too much that she needed to take her pills and rest.
I'll tell you what I did next before I called it a night.. on my next entry. :D
Of course, you can't help but to feel nostalgic. :p
I looked around my Alma Mater and nothing seemed to change alot.
After saying a little prayer to Papa Lord Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, we went out and had ice cream. :)
The next day, which I think was the holiest day of 2011, I and Moi went to the Church just before 3PM. We attended the Ceremony of kissing of the Holy Cross and Anointing of the Holy Oil for healing. We also received the Holy Communion except for Moi who haven't had his First Communion yet.
People line up to kiss the Holy Cross of our Lord on this Holy Hour of Good Friday afternoon.
We also joined the Procession after.
Black Saturday was just a quiet day in our house though I, my aunt and my mom were busy preparing for the next day's feast (Easter Sunday). On the night of this Black Satutday, I and Moi went to Church to attend the Easter Vigil since mom was there to serve as an usherette. Moi was delighted to see how the the bonfire was lit.

A prayer
This should be a part of our daily prayer.
I saw it posted at the bus driver's rear mirror one morning.
I smiled as I took its picture to remind me to pray it especially on times when I feel like bursting out of irritability. :p
Lord, please give me patience. Right Now. And Always.
Amen.

My one-week desperate plan
I got the article below in one site and I am re-posting it so that I will never forget.
Your flat stomach in one week plan:
1. An hour of cardio every day. 20-30 minutes, it should be a high-intensity interval training.
2. Your workout on an empty stomach – that is, no food 4-6 hours before each meeting.
3. Do not eat more than 800-1000 calories each day of the week
4. All types of sugars and fats should be avoided
5. Consumes about 100-150 grams of protein a day
6. Drink plenty of water – more than 4 liters per day
7. Drink lots of green tea and black coffee as you need
8. Take a quality multivitamin every day during the week
Seems hard, right? But with a very willing heart... I am sure I can do that. :)
